We are City Butterflies, a London escort agency that has traded for 25 years, since 2001. Below, you can test that start year against two public records, then take four questions to any agency, ours included.
Two public checks on a start year
A start year is a claim about the past, so it can be tested against records made at the time. Two public records are worth knowing. Someone other than the agency keeps each one. Neither settles the question alone, and each has a limit.
- The domain record. For a .com name, the public registration record (known as RDAP) gives the date the name was first registered. ICANN’s lookup displays it: enter the domain name and read the date labelled Created. The Updated and Registry Expiration dates are separate. The Created date shows when the name was registered. It does not show when trading began, or that the same people have run the site since.
- The archived copies. The Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine keeps dated copies of web pages. Enter the site’s address, open the earliest copy and read what the page said on that date. The Wayback Machine’s URLs tab lists the other pages the archive holds for the site, with the dates of their first and last copies. A copy shows what was written, not who wrote it. A year with no copies means only that none was kept.
Note the date you read each record, because records can change.

Testing our 2001 claim
Take our own domain, citybutterflies.com, as the example. Its domain record shows the name was registered on 20 November 2001, as read on 19 October 2026.
The Internet Archive holds copies of our pages from 7 December 2001. They include a gallery, a bookings page and a page for companions who wanted to join. The earliest copy of our home page address was captured in January 2002.
That copy already told visitors that what they would see were genuine photographs of London-based escorts. A copy from March 2004 is titled “Welcome to City Butterflies London Escort Agency” and carries a copyright line from 2001 to 2004. Third parties hold both sets of records.
These dates fit the 2001 we give. The limits above still apply: a registration date is not a trading date, and an archived page shows only what was written on it. You can repeat both lookups yourself and compare the results with what we tell you.

Our photo promise and where it stops
We still promise genuine photographs today, and many profiles now carry our Genuine Images Guarantee stamp. We compare the portfolio images with how the companion looks at a personal interview and in informal selfies with little or no makeup. Where we are absolutely sure it is merited, we offer the stamp.
The stamp has a stated limit. A profile without the stamp is not necessarily different from its photographs. It simply means we have not yet had the opportunity to meet that companion in person.

When your first choice is unavailable
We take requests by message: WhatsApp, Telegram or email, from 10am to midnight, Monday to Sunday. Sometimes the companion you ask for is not free.
In that case, you can give us two or three profiles you like, or we can suggest a similar companion. We can always help you find a suitable companion, based on what you are looking for. You can also ask when your first choice would be free, whether at a later time or tomorrow.

A record built on consent
In 25 years we have never promoted a companion, or kept her active on our site, without her consent. A public removal form is on our site.
Companions accept or decline each booking request at their own discretion, and we put no pressure on them. Companions who join check us through trusted sources first, to be sure they will be respected and safe. So the companion who arrives has accepted the booking herself.

Four questions to put to any agency
Each answer should be specific enough to check.
- When did you start, and how can I check it? A good answer points to something public, such as the two records above.
- What stands behind the photographs, and what do you say about a profile you have not verified? A good answer describes a method and says where it stops.
- If my first choice is unavailable, what happens next, and when would she be free? A good answer is simple: the agency suggests a similar companion or works from profiles you like, and says when she would be free.
- Who decides whether a booking goes ahead? A good answer is that the companion decides. With us, the companion accepts or declines each request.
